thea stilton and the mystery in paris

I am reading a book called “Thea Stilton And The Mystery In Paris”.

♥Tell about what happened in the story:

The “Thea Sisters” go to Paris to visit Collete’s fashion designer cousin Julie. They stay there for a little while in piece before they get a call one morning from Julie at her university. She told the Thea Sisters that someone had broke into her office and looked through her designs. She was very disappointed. That is when the hunt for the thief, began. I say thief  because a few days later, someone broke into Julie’s office again, and took her designs. The Thea sisters thought the thief was after the map, that Julie found at a book store one day and it inspired her for her fashion line. They were right. Do you want to know who the thief was and why they stole the designs for the map? Well… You’ll have to find out for yourself!

♥Tell how you would react if you were one of the characters in the story:

Julie went through a lot with having her designs stolen and losing so much time on the fashion show, that I think she was so sad that she just gave up and she thought she couldn’t do anything about it. Where as if I had dealt with this problem I wouldn’t have stopped trying to find the thief. Without the Thea Sisters, I don’t think she would’ve found the thief.

♥Describe your favorite part:

My favourite part of the story was when Julie and the Thea Sisters start the chase after the thief. I think it was very interesting, and I couldn’t stop reading it! It was so EXCITING!

Somebody else’s summer By Jean Little

♥How long might Sam and Alex be able to pull this little prank?

♥When might Sam’s dad realize that she’s riding horses and not reading books like he’s forcing her to?

♥When might Alex’s mom and step dad realize she’s reading books and not riding horses like they’re forcing her to?

♥Text to text- I watched this movie called “Parent Trap”. It’s about two long lost twins that meet at a summer camp. Their parents didn’t tell them that they had a twin because their parents were divorced and they didn’t want to keep shipping the kids back and forth (because they lived in different places) so they both just kept one. They made a plan that after the summer camp they would go to each other’s house. In the end they try to get their parents back together. (I’m not going to tell you what happens because I don’t want to spoil it.)

♥Text to self- My best friend is amazing! I want to be just like her! She is nice, kind, funny, smart, pretty and everyone loves her. She always has my back! She has an amazing family that I love to play UNO with! I wish I could switch places with her for at least a day!

♥Text to world- People have role models because they feel self conscious and they want to be just like other people. They put posters up and they start to act like them. People should love who they are! I know I do with all the amazing people in my life.

Best Friends And Drama Queens By Meg Cabot

allie-finkle-s-rules-for-girls-best-friends-and-drama-queens♦ Tell about what happened in the story.
Allie Finkle has been the ”new girl” for a long time, but now she is passing on the role to someone else. That someone would be Cheyenne O’Malley. Allie is so exited that she even gives up her seat next to her best friend ever! But when Cheyenne calls their game babyish, Allie and her 3 best friends have to stand up for themselves and get back their recess!

♦ Copy down a quote from a character and tell why you think it’s meaningful.
“Joey Fields is going to ask you to go with him, and you’re going to say yes.”
This quote just shows how Cheyenne is taking over their recess and making people “Go Together” You would think that the new girl would be the one who was being bullied, but it’s actually the other way around.

♦ Describe a part that surprised you.
Cheyenne broke up a strong friendship like Caroline and Sophie’s!I can’t believe that Cheyenne would be able to do that! Where was the teacher when this happened?!

♦ Write a letter to the author or a character.
Dear Allie,
Oh My Gosh, I feel so bad! If I were you I probably would have told my parents what happened by now and you should too! If I were being bullied that’s what I would do. So when will you tell your parents? WAIT, don’t tell me because it’s probably in the story later on! How come Sophie and Caroline had a fight? I couldn’t understand. I’ll go read it again. Thanks!

A fabumouse school adventure

I am reading a book called “A fabumouse school adventure”. It’s a Geronimo Stilton book. This book is about how Geronimo has to go to his nephew, Benjamin’s school for career day. Let’s just say his day goes off to a bad start when all his relatives come to visit him or call him to say that his nephew Benjamin really looks up to Geronimo and not to mess things up. All of that nonsense must have made him late because it was already 7:50! He was supposed to be at the bus stop at 8:00! He gets there on time, gets onto the bus, becomes car sick and flies onto a seat two rows in front of where his nephew’s sitting. Things are not turning out to be Geronimo’s day! Now that is something to write about!
